Memories Reanimated
Hat es eigentlich vor dem Virus schon globale Krisen gegeben? Wie dreist diese Frage auch zunächst ist, betrachtet man die aktuelle Medienberichterstattung, scheint sie alles andere als unberechtigt.
Erinnern wir uns weiterhin an die Menschen, die immer noch im Mittelmeer ertrinken, an Kinder, die im Krieg aufwachsen, an die Armut und an Ausbeutung? Wie weit in den Hintergrund sind eigentlich Klimaerwärmung und Umweltzerstörung gerückt?
Ein Filmprogramm darüber, was uns bewegt hat, bevor das Virus begann unsere Realität zu vereinnahmen.

Wir wagen die Erinnerung! Die Erinnerung an Armut und Hunger im gleichnamigen Film von Katyayan Shivpuri, an unser Entsetzen als auf Österreichs Straßen 71 Menschen auf der Flucht in einem Transporter den Tod finden (Cargo by Christina Tournatzés). Klimaerwärmung und die Uhr der Apokalypse rufen der Film 3 Minutes von Hubert Jégat und Yohan Vioux wieder ins Gedächtnis – schon vergessen, hilft uns hier nicht!
